Enjoy the beautiful Atlantic Ocean accessed via our private beachfront parking.  Check with our Property Management Office for a keycard for access to the parking lot.  There is a rental fee of $20, which is refundable upon return of the keycard.  Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 and Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00.  For more information, call 843-650-4440.

Our large outdoor pool is located off Park Green. Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. During the summer season, kick back and listen to the DJ every Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Outdoor grills are available for your use at this location.

The Oasis Pool

Our large outdoor pool is located on Dipper.  Wireless internet is available on the east deck of the Oasis pool.

The Fitness Center

How about some exercise? We have a wonderful fitness center located in the Activities Center on Dipper. There are treadmills, a recumbent bike, elliptical, free weights and other equipment to work every part of the body. Please check in with the Management Office for a pass to this facility. A nominal fee is charged. Hours of operation are 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Playground

A fully equipped children’s playground is located in our green area next to the Community Center on Dipper.  This is especially suited for children under 12. 

The Basketball Court

This is also located in our green area and is very popular, especially with our teenagers.

Tennis anyone?  Two lighted tennis courts are available for your use day or night.  The courts are next to the Community Center on Dipper.  The key for access to the courts is available at the front gate security guardhouse upon presentation of a valid driver’s license.

Baseball Field

Choose up teams and let’s play ball.  Our baseball field is available for all to use and is located in the green area in the center of Oceanside Village. 

Volleyball Court

This is next to the Community Center on Dipper. Balls are available from the Oceanside Village Property Management Office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. A valid driver’s license must be presented to check out equipment. Both of these amenities are next to the Community Center on Dipper. Equipment is available for use from the front gate Security Office upon presentation of a valid driver’s license.

The Community Center

The Oceanside Village Community Center is home to every type of social function imaginable.  Our entertainment committee organizes holiday parties, dinner dances, live shows, and fund raisers for everyone’s enjoyment. The center can also be rented for special occasions such as weddings or birthday parties.

The Millie Durgin Library

The library is located in the activities center on Dipper and is available for homeowners and guests to use while in the village. There is a wide selection of books for all ages to choose from for your reading pleasure. In addition there are two computers with a printer and internet service available. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Fishing

Lake fishing is permitted in designated common areas only. We ask that no fishing be done in front of residents’ homes. Fishermen are encouraged to throw all fish back into the lake.

Surf Fishing

Individuals can recreationally fish in saltwater from the shore (beach, bank, private dock, free public pier, etc.).  A saltwater fishing license is required for fishing from the shore.  A saltwater recreational fishing license can be purchased online by visiting www.dnr.sc.gov , by telephone, 1-866-714-3611, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or by visiting SCDNR license sales agents across the state.  The cost of a fishing license is $10.00 a year for a resident and $35.00 a year for a non-resident.
